The influencing factors and research progress of female menarche age
The age of female menarche is determined by many factors, including genetic factors which are major determinants, individual factors, and external environmental factors such as endocrine disruptors. Most current studies show that the age of female menarche at home and abroad generally presents and earlier trend. In addition to genetic factors, such as genetic variation and maternal factors, external environmental factors such as living in low latitudes, exposure to endocrine disruptors and negative life events also play a driving role. However, the effects of obesity, sleep and nutritional intake on the age of menarche are still controversial, and further research will further explore the role of these factors.
