Meta-analysis of the efficacy and safety of tuberculosis pills in the treatment of retreatment tuberculosis
Objective To explore the evidence-based medical evidence of tuberculosis pills combined with conventional anti-tuberculosis regimen in the treatment of recurrent pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods Through searching VIP,CNKI,WangFang,CBM,PubMed,Embase and other databases, the randomized controlled trials of tuberculosis pills in the treatment of retreated pulmonary tuberculosis were collected from the time of database construction to January 10th,2024.Two researchers conducted independent literature screening and data extraction, and the Corchrane 5.3 bias risk assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the include literature, statistical analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.3 software after. Results A total of 15 RCTs with 1584 patients were included in the meta-analysis.The results showed:the combination of TB pills with conventional anti-TB regimens for the treatment of recurrent TB was better than conventional anti-TB regimens alone in terms of clinical symptom improvement rate, sputum negative conversion rate, lesion absorption rate and cavity closure rate, the incidence of adverse reactions of conventional anti-TB regimens alone was higher than that of combined regimen, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The overall efficacy of tuberculosis pills combined with conventional anti-tuberculosis regimen in the treatment of recurrent tuberculosis is better than that of conventional anti-tuberculosis regimen alone.
