The number of cases of fungal infection is increasing year by year,and the mortality rate remains high.Amphotericin B has been listed as one of the most effective drugs for the treatment of fungal infections due to its wide anti-fungal spectrum and strong activity,but its toxic side effects are also obvious.Amphotericin B cholesterol sulfate complex is a representative drug of new preparations.This paper reviews its structural characteristics,effects and side effects in the treatment of different fungal infections.
