Analysis of the Medication Rules in the Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy with Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on TCM Inheritance Computing Platform
Objective:To explore the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and to provide ideas for clinical treatment of the disease.Methods:The literature from 2018 to 2022 collected from CNKI,Wanfang and Weipu periodical databases were used as data sources and the related pre-scriptions were collected and a corresponding database was established.The herbs involved in the prescriptions were recorded into the"TCM inheritance Computing Platform Management System"one by one to conduct statistical analysis on their frequency,property and taste.Statistical methods such as association rules and cluster analysis of the platform software were used for statistical analysis of the data,and the related medication rules were found.Results:A total of 151 prescriptions meeting the conditions were selected,involving a total of 184 herbs.The properties were mainly warm,moderate and cold,and the tastes were mainly sweet,bitter and pungent.According to the frequency of usage,the order from most to least followed as,tonifying deficiency medicine,promoting blood circulation to remove stasis and relieving exterior syndrome.The involved high-frequency herbs(frequency>40 times)totaled 12 flavors.As-tragalus was the first,followed by Angelica,Spatholobi,Cassia twig,Ligusticum,Licorice,Lumbricus,Achyranthes,Safflower,Paeoniae,Rehmannia and so on.The association analysis of high-frequency herbs was further carried out,and 8 high-frequency herb association rules were found,and the high-frequency herbs were grouped into 3 catego-ries.Conclusion:The treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy with traditional Chinese medicine should focus on tonifying deficiency and purging excess,treating both symptoms and root causes,mainly tonifying qi,invigorating spleen and nourishing kidney as well as taking into account promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and acti-vating meridians to stop pain.
