Clinical Observation of Yinhuang Qingfei Capsule in the Treatment of Phlegm-Heat Obstructing Lung Syndrome of Acute Episodes of Chronic Bronchitis
Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of Yinhuang Qingfei Capsule in the treatment of acute epi-sodes of chronic bronchitis(CB)with phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome.Methods:60 CB patients were ran-domly divided into a treatment group and a control group.30 cases each group.The control group was given Azithro-mycin tablets,compound Vorcodine oral solution,Ambroxol hydrochloride oral solution and Ibuprofen sustained re-lease capsule and the treatment group was added Yinhuang Qingfei capsule on the basis treatment of the control group.After 5 days of treatment,the clinical efficacy,TCM symptom score,cough relief time,expectorant time,fever reduc-tion time,inflammatory factors and adverse reaction rate of the two groups were compared.Results:The total effective rate was 93.33％in the treatment group and 73.33％in the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Compared with those of the prior treatment,TCM symptom score,C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)were significantly decreased in the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the TCM symptom score,cough relief time,expectorant time,fever time,CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).The adverse reaction rate of the two groups was similar(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Yinhuang Qingfei Capsule has good efficacy and safety in the treatment of acute episode of chronic bron-chitis with phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome,can accelerate the relief of clinical symptoms and control inflam-matory response,and has the prospect of clinical application.
