Clinical Observation of Dilong Shuyao Decoction in the Treatment of Residual Symptoms of Lumbar Disc Herniation after Foraminoscopy
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Dilong Shuwei Decoction on residual symptoms of lumbar disc herniation after percutaneous foraminoscopy,and to provide reference for clinical optimization treatment and relief of symptoms in patients.Methods:60 patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation,who underwent percutaneous foraminoscopy with residual lumbar and leg symptoms,were divided into control group(30 cases)and observation group(30 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine and lumbar and back muscle function exercise and the observation group was treated with Dilong Shuyao De-coction on the basis of the control group for 14 days.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),the Japanese Orthopaedic Society Assessment Lumbar Treatment Scale(JOA)and the Lumbar Dysfunction Index Scale(ODI)were compared between the two groups before and 2 weeks after surgery.Results:The pain degree and lumbar dysfunction index in the two groups were lower than those before surgery,and the observation group was lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).JOA scores in the two groups after surgery were higher than those before surgery,and the observation group was higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.70％,higher than that of the control group(73.33％),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Dilong Shuyao Decoction has a better effect on the improvement of the residual symptoms of lumbar disc herniation after percutaneous foraminos-copy.
