Meta-analysis of Bazheng Powder in the Treatment of Urinary Tract Infection
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Bazheng Powder in the treatment of urinary tract in-fection by meta-analysis.Methods:Wanfang database,China Biomedical Literature Database,The Cochrane Librar-y,VIP database,Pubmed database and CNKI database were searched to collect randomized controlled trials(RCT)on the treatment of urinary tract infections with Bazheng Powder and the methodological quality was evaluated.Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan5.4 software,subgroup analysis was made,and bias assessment was published.Results:There were 11 RCT articles included in this study,including a total of 937 cases.Meta-analysis showed that the cure rate of Bazheng Powderin the treatment of urinary tract infection was as(RR=1.51,95％CI｛ 1.32-1.72 },P＜0.000 01),marked effective rate as(RR=0.88,95％CI｛0.68,1.13 },P=0.31)and effective rate as(RR=-0.08,95％CI｛-0.12～-0.03},P=0.002),total effective rate as(RR=1.14,95％CI｛ 1.09,1.18},P＜0.000 01),adverse reactions(RR=0.47,95％CI {0.03,7.22},P=0.59).The effect was significantly better than that of simple antibiotics group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical treatment of urinary tract infection with Bazheng Powder has a remarkable effect with a long history,and has its unique advantages in reducing adverse reactions,improving patients'quality of life,controlling disease progression and reduc-ing recurrence rate.
