Objective:To provide data support and reference for clinical application of fresh herbs by analyzing and summarizing the rules of using fresh herbs in Gu Shicheng's Comprehensive Guide to Traumatolg.Methods:By reviewing and summarizing the clinical application of fresh herbs in Comprehensive Guide to Traumatolgs,and entering into Excel2016 software to establish a database,the information of use frequency,property and taste,channel tropism and dosage form of herbs were statistically analyzed.Results:There were 120 kinds of fresh herb species in Compre-hensive Guide to Traumatolg,including 76 kinds of fresh plants and 44 kinds of fresh animals.The use frequency of fresh herbs was 288 times,the property was cold and warm,the taste was sweet and bitter,the main channel was lung and stomach,and the dosage form was mostly used outside.In the application of ancient prescriptions,the use fre-quency of fresh herbs was highest in ecthyma(53 times,18.40％)and ringworm(39 times,13.54％).Conclusion:The fresh herbs recorded in Comprehensive Guide to Traumatolgcame from a wide range of sources,most of which were local herbs,mainly for the external treatment of surgical diseases,and reflected the characteristics of caring for the spleen and stomach and treating the skin with skin.
