Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the"Lung Diffusion and Orifice Clearing"acupuncture method for treating neurological tinnitus.Methods:Seventy patients with neurological tinnitus were randomly divided into a treatment group(35 cases)and a control group(35 cases).The treatment group received the"Lung Diffusion and Orifice Clearing"acupuncture method while the control group underwent traditional acupuncture.The treatment was administered three times per week for two weeks per course,with two courses in total.The changes in Tinnitus E-valuation Questionnaire(TEQ),Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI),and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores be-fore and after treatment were observed and the clinical effect outcomes were compared between the groups.Results:After treatment,TEQ,THI,and SAS scores significantly decreased in both groups,with the treatment group showing greater reductions than the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate in the treatment group was 85.71％,sig-nificantly higher than the 71.43％in the control group(P＜0.05).with damp-heat impedimentConclusion:The"Lung Diffusion and Orifice Clearing"acupuncture method effectively alleviates tinnitus symptoms and demonstrates significant clinical effect for treating neurological tinnitus.
