Study on the Effect of Blonanserin on Short-term Prolactin Level and Menstruation in Female Schizophrenics
Objective To explore the effect of the treatment of female schizophrenic patients with blonanserin and its impact on prolactin level and menstruation. Methods 120 female schizophrenic patients admitted to Ganzhou Third People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were divided into three groups with 40 cases each. The control group 1 was treated with olanzapine, the control group 2 was treated with risperidone, and the observation group was treated with blonanserin for 8 weeks. The treatment effect, sex hormone, menstrual status and adverse reactions were compared among the three groups. Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2)in control group 1 and control group 2 were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of prolactin(PRL)and testosterone(T)were higher than those before treatment, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in levels of PRL,FSH,LH,T,E2 between the observation group after treatment and before treatment(P>0.05).The incidence of delayed menstruation in the observation group was lower than that in the control group 1 and 2 with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference in the incidence of amenorrhea among the three groups(P>0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group 1 and the control group 2 with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of female schizophrenic patients with blonanserin is effective, has little effect on PRL and menstruation, and can reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
