Clinical Study on Chailing Decoction in Treating Urinary Retention after Radical Hysterectomy of Cervical Cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of chailing decoction on urinary retention(UR)after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer. Methods 50 postoperative UR patients with cervical cancer admitted to Ganzhou Cancer Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were randomly divided into a control group(25 cases treated with conventional therapy)and an observation group(25 cases treated with conventional therapy combined with chailing decoction),both treated for 7 days.Compare the treatment effectiveness, postoperative recovery, and urination function between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%(24/25),which was higher than the control group's 68.00%(17/25)(P<0.05);the observation group had more initial urination volume and less residual bladder urine volume after urination compared to the control group. The time for spontaneous urination and hospitalization was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the maximum urine flow rate in both groups was higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher. The urination threshold in both groups was lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment effect of chailing decoction on postoperative UR patients with cervical cancer after radical hysterectomy is satisfactory, which can effectively promote postoperative recovery and improve urination function.
