Effects of Shenqi Jiangtang Granules Combined with Dapagliflozin on Glucose Metabolism Indexes and Islet β Cell Function in T2DM Patients
Objective To observe the effects of shenqi jiangtang granules combined with dapagliflozin on glucose metabolism indexes and islet beta cell function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 82 T2DM patients treated in Leping People's Hospital from March 2022 to May 2023 were divided into 2 groups with 41 cases in each group according to random number table method.The control group was treated with dapagliflozin,on this basis,the observation group was given shenqi jiangtang granules treatment,continuous treatment for 8 weeks.Glucose metabolism indexes,islet β cell function,lipid indexes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,HbAlc,FBG and 2 hPG were decreased in both groups,and the improvement was better in observation group(P<0.05).Fins and HOMA-IR were decreased and HOMA-β were increased in both groups after treatment,and the improvement was better in observation group(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions were observed in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion Shenqi jiangtang granules combined with dapagliflozin can regulate glucose metabolism and lipid indexes in T2DM patients,improve the function of islet β cells,and control blood glucose level more effectively.
