Effects of Huayu Tongmai Decoction Combined with Oxiracetam on Hemodynamics and Nerve Function in Patients with Ischemic Stroke
Objective To analyze the efficacy of huayu tongmai decoction combined with oxiracetam in the treatment of ischemic stroke,and to explore its effects on hemodynamics and nerve function.Methods A total of 93 patients with ischemic stroke admitted to Xingyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from December 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects,and randomly divided into control group(46 cases)(oxiracetam treatment)and study group(47 cases)(huayu tongmai decoction combined with oxiracetam treatment).Compare the efficacy,safety of the two groups,as well as National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,TCM syndrome score,cerebral hemodynamics(mean cerebral artery flow velocity(Vm),pulse index(PI),blood flow resistance index(RI),cerebrovascular characteristic impedance(ZCV))and Neural function[Central nerve specific protein(S100-β),neuron-specific enolase(NSE),glutamate(Glu)],inflammatory factors[Monocyte chemoattractant protein(MCP-1),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1)]before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,NIHSS score,TCM syndrome score,PI,RI and ZCV in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and Vm was higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);serum levels of S100-β,NSE,Glu,MCP-1,MMP-9 and sICAM-1 in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Huayu tongmai decoction combined with oxacetam is effective in the treatment of ischemic stroke,which can improve clinical symptoms,promote the recovery of hemodynamics and nerve function,and inhibit inflammatory response with guaranteed safety.
