Effect of Feilike Mixture on Symptom Improvement Time and Immune Function of Children with Pneumonia
Objective To investigate the effect of feilike mixture on symptom improvement time and immune function of children with pneumonia.Methods 94 children with pneumonia treated in Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were randomly divided into two groups with 47 cases in each control group and treatment group.The control group was treated with budesonide suspension,and the treatment group was treated with feilike mixture on the basis of the control group.Symptom improvement time,inflammatory response,immune function and lung function were compared between the two groups.Results The remission time of cough and pulmonary rales and fever in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were decreased in both groups,and CRP,PCT and TNF-α in treatment group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05);immunoglobulin(Ig)A,IgM and IgG were decreased in both groups,and IgA,IgM and IgG in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);forced vital capacity(FVC),maximum peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)and 1second maximum expiratory volume(FEV1)were increased in both groups,and PEF,FVC and FEV1 in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Feilike mixture can reduce inflammation,regulate immune function,improve lung function and promote symptom relief in children with pneumonia.
