Effect of Shiwei Longdanhua Granules Combined with Antibiotics in Patients with Phlegm Heat Obstructing Lung Syndrome Type Community Acquired Pneumonia
Objective To investigate the efficacy of shiwei longdanhua granules combined with antibiotics in the treatment of phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome type community acquired pneumonia(CAP)patients.Methods A total of 80 patients with CAP admitted to Ji'an Central People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected and divided into control group(receiving antibiotics treatment)and combined group(receiving shiwei longdanhua granules treatment on the basis of control group)according to random number table method,with 40 patients in each group.Both groups were treated continuously for 7 days.The clinical efficacy,symptom improvement time,community acquired pneumonia score(CURB-65 score),immune function,changes in serum inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of combined group 92.50%was higher than that of control group 75.00%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the improvement time of fever,expectoration,shortness of breath and pulmonary rales in the combined group were significantly shorter than that in the control group,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05);the CURB-65 score of the combined group was significantly lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05);the levels of immune function CD3+and CD4+in combined group were significantly higher than those in control group,and CD8+levels was significantly lower than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of IL-8,Ang-2 and C-reactive protein in combined group were significantly lower than those in control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 10.00%in control group and 5.00%in combined group,and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Shiwei longdanhua granules combined with antibiotics can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and immune function for the treatment of CAP patients with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome,with good clinical efficacy and high safety.
