Clinical Analysis of Cyclosporine and Androgen Combined with Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Patients with Aplastic Anemia
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of cyclosporine and androgen combined with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in patients with aplastic anemia. Methods 60 cases of aplastic anemia patients admitted to Fengcheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital between June 2019 to June 2023 were selected, were randomly divided into a control group and a research group, each consisting of 30 patients. The control group was treated with cyclosporine and androgen, while the research group received comprehensive treatment that included the same regimen as the control group plus TCM.The treatment response rate, serum levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment effective rate in the research group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Prior to treatment, there were no statistically significant differences(P>0.05)between the two groups in terms of serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon γ(IFN-γ),interleukin 6(IL-6),and interleukin 2(IL-2).However,following the treatment period, these indicators in the research group showed improvement over those in the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,the incidence rate of adverse reactions was lower in the research group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination therapy of cyclosporine, androgen, and TCM demonstrates a better therapeutic effect for patients with aplastic anemia, effectively reducing their serum inflammatory factor levels. It also exhibits a higher safety profile, making it a promising treatment approach with clinical application value.
