The Effect of Nebulized Budesonide Combined with Ambroxol Hydrochloride on Symptom Relief Time and Inflammatory Factor Levels in Patients with Severe Pneumonia
Objective To explore the effects of nebulized budesonide combined with ambroxol hydrochloride on symptom relief time and inflammatory cytokine levels in patients with severe pneumonia(SP).Methods 91 SP patients admitted to the Fuqing Third Hospital from July 2021 to May 2023 were selected and divided into a control group(46 cases)and a study group(45 cases)using a lottery method. The control group was treated with ambroxol hydrochloride, while the study group was treated with nebulized budesonide combined with ambroxol hydrochloride. The treatment effects, symptom relief time, inflammatory cytokine indicators such as C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),IL-6,blood gas indicators such as blood oxygen partial pressure(PaO2),blood oxygen saturation(SpO2),oxygenation index(P/F),and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the times for symptom relief were shorter than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);after treatment, the levels of CRP,IL-8,and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group, while PaO2,SpO2,and P/F were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of nebulized budesonide and ambroxol hydrochloride has a good therapeutic effect on SP,which can promote symptom relief, reduce inflammatory factor levels, improve blood gas status, and is safe.
