Efficacy Observation and Pregnancy Outcome Analysis of Honeysuckle Oral Liquid for the Treatment of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection During Pregnancy
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of honeysuckle oral liquid in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infection during pregnancy.Methods A total of 66 pregnant women diagnosed as"pregnancy combined with upper respiratory tract infection"were selected and divided into two groups with 33 cases in each group by random numbers,who had been admitted into Xiangya Changde Hospital from January 2021 to September 2022.The control group used hospital symptomatic supportive treatment while the observation group used honeysuckle oral liquid on the basis of the control group.Results Compared with the control group,the time for the disappearance of fever and sore throat and laboratory examination index to return to normal were remarkably shortened,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the average hospitalization day was shortened in the observation group compared with the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);there was no significant difference in adverse pregnancy outcomes between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Honeysuckle oral liquid can dramatically improve the symptoms of fever and sore throat in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infection patients during pregnancy,shorten the hospitalization day,do not affect the outcome of pregnancy of pregnant women,and are quite effective and safe.
