Clinical Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Simo Decoction Combined with Neonatal Touch in the Treatment of Feeding Intolerance in Premature Infants
Objective To explore the clinical effect of simo decoction combined with neonatal touch in the treatment of feeding intolerance in premature infants. Methods 40 premature infants with feeding intolerance admitted to Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to June 2022 were selected as the control group, and another 40 premature infants with feeding intolerance admitted from July to December 2022 were selected as the observation group. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group received an additional treatment of simo decoction combined with neonatal touch. The clinical efficacy, serological indicators, recovery, and growth and development of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the blood glucose, prealbumin, and hemoglobin levels in the observation group were higher than the control group. The total bilirubin level was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the time for vomiting, abdominal distension disappearance, total gastrointestinal feeding, and fecal emptying in the observation group were shorter than the control group(P<0.05);the corrected gestational age of the observation group at 40 weeks was higher than the control group, and the body length was longer than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of simo decoction and neonatal touch has a significant effect on the treatment of feeding intolerance in premature infants. It can accelerate the disappearance of vomiting and bloating, improve serological indicators, shorten the time to complete gastrointestinal feeding, and promote body growth and development.
