Effect of Insulin Pump Therapy in Patients with Diabetic Ketoacidosis
Objective To analyze the effect of insulin pump treatment on diabetic ketoacidosis patients. Methods A total of 56 patients with diabetic ketoacidosis treated in Ruijin People's Hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were randomly selected as the objects, were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 28 patients in each group. The study group used insulin pump, and the control group received conventional subcutaneous insulin injection treatment. The treatment-related indicators, the total incidence of adverse reactions and the total effective rate of treatment of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results After treatment, the time required for glucose control, the insulin required for glucose control, the time for urine ketone to turn negative, and the insulin required for urine ketone to turn negative were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05);the total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Insulin pump can better control the infusion speed and drug concentration in blood, and has the advantages of stable flow rate and high timing accuracy. It can not only reduce the occurrence of adverse events, but also avoid hypoglycemia caused by rapid decrease in blood glucose.
