Observation on Clinical Efficacy of Dumai Moxibustion Combined with Morodan in Treating Epigastric Pain
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the treatment of epigastric pain by combining dumai moxibustion with morodan. Methods Ninety patients with epigastric pain treated in Shangrao Central Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected and divided into two groups by randomized table method, the control group(n=45)and the research group(n=45),all of them received conventional symptomatic treatment, based on which the control group was treated with morodan, and the research group were treated with dumai moxibustion combined with morodan, all treated for 15 d.The clinical effects, the degree of gastric pain[visual analog score(VAS)],the degree of gastric pain[Visual Analog Score(VAS)],the degree of symptoms(Gastroparesis-Quantitative Standards for Physician-Reported Outcome Symptoms in Spleen and Stomach Diseases),and the quality of survival[Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire(GQOLI-74)]of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate was higher in the research group, and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05);after treatment, the VAS score and symptom degree score decreased in both groups, and the research group was lower than the control group;the GQOLI-74 score increased in both groups, and the research group was higher than the control group, and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of epigastric pain with dumai moxibustion combined with morodan can improve the efficacy, reduce the degree of pain and the degree of symptoms, and improve the quality of survival.
