Influence of Zhuangjin Xugu Decoction Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation on Fracture Healing and Lower Limb Function Recovery in Patients with Tibial Plateau Fractures
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of zhuangjin xugu decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on fracture healing in patients with tibial plateau fractures,and to analyze its influence on the recovery of lower limb function.Methods From January 2023 to December 2023,84 patients with tibial plateau fractures diagnosed and treated in Fengcheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into experimental group and control group according to the random coin toss method,with 42 cases in each group.Both groups carried out locking compression plate internal fixation,and the patients in the control group were given traditional Chinese medicine fumigation after surgery while the patients in the experimental group were treated with zhuangjin xugu decoction on the basis of the control group.The postoperative recovery status,TCM syndromes scores,visual analogue scale(VAS)score,lower limb function score(HSS)and occurrence of complications were compared between groups.Results The fracture healing time and swelling elimination time in experimental group were shorter than those in control group(P＜0.05).The TCM syndromes scores and VAS score in experimental group after surgery were lower than those in control group while the HSS score was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).The incidence rates of complications in the two groups were similar(P＞0.05).Conclusion Zhuangjin xugu decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation has a significant effect on patients with tibial plateau fractures,and it can relieve pain and clinical symptoms,and promote fracture healing and lower limb function recovery.
