The Effect of Quyu Jiedu Formula Combined with Conventional Western Medicine on Stable COPD Syndrome and Pulmonary Function Rehabilitation
Objective Observation of the effects of quyu jiedu formula combined with conventional western medicine on the clinical symptoms and pulmonary function recovery of stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods This study was a prospective study, selecting 100 stable COPD patients admitted between January 2021 and January 2023 as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a western medicine group(50 cases),a traditional Chinese and western medicine group(50 cases)using computer randomization. The western medicine group received conventional western medicine treatment, while the traditional Chinese and western medicine group received conventional western medicine combined with quyu jiedu formula treatment. The clinical symptoms, immune status, inflammatory cells, and lung function improvement of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of cough, phlegm, chest tightness, wheezing, and breathing difficulties in the traditional Chinese and western medicine group were lower than the western medicine group;the WBC,NE,and LYM of the traditional Chinese and western medicine group were lower than the western medicine group;the levels of IL-6,IL-8,and IL-10 in the traditional Chinese and western medicine group were lower than the western medicine group;the FVE1,FVC,and PEF of the traditional Chinese and western medicine group were higher than the western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of quyu jiedu formula and conventional western medicine treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of stable COPD,and has a positive significance in promoting the immune status, inflammatory response, and lung function recovery.
