Comparison of Traditional Rose Slices,Broken Wall Powder, and Broken Wall Slices Based on Ultra-high Performance Liquid Chromatography Fingerprint and Multi-component Content
Objective To establish ultra-high performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) fingerprint spectra and multi-component content determination methods for traditional rose slices, broken wall powder, and broken wall slices, compare the differences in fingerprint spectra and content among the three, and provide reference for their quality control. Methods UPLC method was used to determine the traditional slices, broken wall powder, and broken wall slices of roses. The "Chinese medicine chromatographic fingerprint similarity evaluation software (2012 version)" was used for evaluation, and statistical software (SPSS 26.0) was used for comparative analysis. Results The similarity between traditional rose slices, broken wall powder, and broken wall slices reached 1.000. The average contents of gallic acid, tannic acid, and quercetin were in the order of broken wall powder>broken wall slices>traditional slices, but there was no significant difference. Conclusion The composition of the main components in traditional rose slices, broken wall powder, and broken wall slices was basically the same, and the content of effective ingredients gallic acid, tannic acid, and quercetin are basically the same. This method is reliable and has good reproducibility, providing a reference for the quality control of rose broken wall slices.
