Effect of Lactobacillus Reuteri Combined with Racecadotril Granules on Intestinal Flora in Children with Rotavirus Enteritis
Objective To analyze the effect of Lactobacillus reuteri combined with racecadotril granules on intestinal flora in children with rotavirus enteritis (RE). Methods A total of 120 children with RE in Nanyang Central Hospital from May 2021 to September 2023 were selected, divided into control group and combined group according to different treatment schemes. Among them,60 cases were given racecadotril granules as the control group, and 60 cases were given Lactobacillus reuteri combined with racecadotril granules as the combined group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,as well as the levels of intestinal flora (Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium,Escherichia coli),T lymphocyte subsets[surface antigen differentiation cluster 4 receptor (CD4+),CD4+/surface antigen differentiation cluster 8 receptor (CD8+),surface antigen differentiation cluster 3 receptor(CD3+)]and related cytokines[motilin (MOT),gastrin (GAS),vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)]before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+in the combined group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05);the total effective rate of the combined group was 91.67% higher than 76.67% of the control group (P<0.05);the levels of MOT,GAS and VIP in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);the level of Escherichia coli in the combined group was lower than that in the control group, while the levels of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in the combined group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of Lactobacillus reuteri combined with racecadotril granules in the treatment of children with RE is significant, which can regulate intestinal flora, improve immune function and gastrointestinal hormones.
