Adoption of heat insulation materials for lithium-ion battery fire blanket coating and earlier fire alarming
On the basis of the existing fire control blanket products in the market, the effect on the thermal prob-lem of lithium battery fire control blanket coating is explored by adding different thermal insulators and differ-ent amounts of the same kind of thermal insulators in the coating. It is found that adding 10%of 20 nm SiO2 aerogel in the coating has the best thermal insulation effect, and the thermal insulation effect can be improved by 18.61%compared with that of high silica-oxygen cloth;further analysing the effect of adding thermal insula-tors on the concentration of pyrolytic particles and the duration of smoke,it is found that the concentration of pyrolytic particles and the situation of smoke emission have been improved after the addition of thermal insula-tors,and the fire detector can send out fire warnings in advance in the early stage.A low-temperature test is used to evaluate the thermal insulation and warning performance of the coating under no-fire conditions, and 10%of 20 nm SiO2 aerogel has the best thermal insulation effect, while 15%of mica powder is added for the earliest warning time. The results show that the new coatings have excellent thermal insulation properties at both high and low temperatures and provide effective fire warning capabilities.
