Qualitative methods and migration patterns of migratory fluorescent whitening agents in textile products for infants and children
The qualitative test methods of migratory fluorescent whitening agents in textile products for infants and children are explored, and the migration patterns and influencing factors are studied. Two test methods of immersion and lamination are designed by simulating sweating, drooling and bathing during the wearing of in-fant underwear. The orthogonal experiments with the main influencing factors of extraction solution, extraction time, extraction temperature,pH of immersion solution, immersion(lamination)temperature and immersion(lamination)time are designed, and the migration patterns of migratory fluorescent whitening agents in textiles are explored. The migration amount of migratory fluorescent whitening agents in cotton underwear in water is significantly higher than that in simulated human body fluids. The main factors affecting migration in the immer-sion method are extraction temperature, extraction solution and immersion time, while the main factors affect-ing migration in the lamination method are extraction solution, sticking time and sticking temperature. The filler polyester fiber does not contain migratory fluorescent whitening agents and has not undergone migration un-der various experimental conditions.
