Based on a large amount of authentic linguistic data,Corpus Linguistics uses computer technology for quantitative analysis,dictionary-making and machine translation of natural language texts,providing a scientific and objective path of analysis for linguistic research.This article intends to select relevant corpora based on the Russian national corpus and the modern Chinese corpus of Peking University,take"white"as the specific research object,screen their high-frequency phrases,contrast their dictionary definitions,analyse their separations of meanings and make a comparative analysis of their metaphorical cognitive mechanism and metonymy cognitive mechanism,using cognitive linguistics such as prototype categories,metaphors,and metonymy.The conclusion and summary of similarities and differences between the two and the analysis of the formation reasons will provide reference for the same type of research on other Russian color words and new ideas for the study of Chinese and Russian cultural differences from the perspective of color words.
