"影戏"的命名、媒介谱系及其视觉现代性经验

早期观影的视觉现代性经验是在与其他不同视觉媒介的相互观照中逐步形成的.从"影戏"的命名出发,研究发现这些视觉现代性经验有两种传统:一种是以"戏"为介质的"看戏"传统,即在海派京剧、文明新戏的观看中建立电影的观看模式;另一种则是以"影"为介质的"观影"传统,即在西洋镜、摄影术以及幻灯片的视觉中形塑电影的视觉经验.最终,电影既使用现代技术将"影"的再现发挥得更加完善,又在综合各方戏剧形态的基础上使得"戏"的叙事和教化功能得到拓展,从而将早期观众带入一种新的现代视觉景观中.
The Naming,Media Pedigree and Experience of Visual Modernity of"Shadow Play"
The early experience of visual modernity in film watching was gradually formed through mutual observation with other different visual media.Starting from the naming of"Shadow Play",it can be found that there are two tradi-tions of these experiences of visual modernity:one is the tradition of"watching opera"with drama as the medium,that is,the viewing mode of film is established in the viewing of Shanghai-style Peking Opera and new civilized operas;The other is the tradition of"film-watching"using shadow as a medium,that is,shaping the visual experience of film in the vision of dioramas,photography,and slides.In the end,the film not only uses modern technology to bring the repro-duction of"shadow"to the extreme,but also expands the narrative and educational functions of"drama"on the basis of integrating all aspects of dramatic forms,thus bringing the early audience into a new modern visual landscape.
