The Digital Age and the Ontological Change of Art Criticism in China Nowadays
Art criticism is the most active,direct and influential art activity among the three basic theories of art and the study of art history,which plays a role in art practice and creation.With the rapid development of digital technol-ogy,the three forms of traditional art criticism,namely"saying","commenting"and"discussing",have been or are undergoing great changes in the expression of content and circulation of form.In terms of the expression of content and the circulation of form,it has undergone or is in the process of undergoing a huge change.This is to say:with the e-mergence of digital art criticism,the"talk"of the popular public"street talk"has become the network view of the public;the"classical criticism"of the paper media"comment"has become the network criticism of the digital plat-form(App);the"theory"of the academic journal"thesis"has become the digital publication of the network paper.The writing criticism,single-chain dissemination and independent perception criticism in the era of paper reviews of art have become the generative criticism,copying(pasting)circulation and seconding adulteration in the digital era,which provides a tool for the change of art criticism towards greater democracy,fairness and justice.This is especially true for art criticism in China today,which is related to the Chinese tradition of criticism that pays more attention to"speaking"and"commenting"than that of the West.
