Policy-driven,Local,and Systematic Operation:A Perspective on the Second Wave of Contemporary Little Theatre Drama in Jiangsu
The operation and acceptance of the concept of"little theatre drama"in contemporary Jiangsu Province is a process of continuous practice and rewriting.Beginning from the first"Nanjing Little Theatre Festival"in 1989,Jiang-su little theatre drama has undergone two waves and currently exhibits the characteristics of policy-driven,local,and systematic operation.In recent years,Jiangsu province has systematically established a drama incubation mechanism and achieved remarkable results,causing Jiangsu little theatre drama centered in Nanjing to once again attract public attention.It can be stated that Nanjing has become the cultural coordinate of little theatre drama,carrying the histori-cal process and general connotation of Chinese little theatre drama.
