Most of the Chinese poems'translation works in Ezra Pound's Cathay are superior to Chinese scholars',and have become classics in the United States.The most important feature of Pound's translation works is the deconstruction and reconstruction to the source texts.By analyzing deconstruction and reconstruc-tion in Pound's translations,it is discovered that this process is a fusion of his personal poetics and social po-etics.Additionally,factors such as sponsors also do their due contributions to the canonization of Pound's translation work.The canonization process provides valuable insights and inspiration for contemporary transla-tion activities.
