Yang Sisheng was an important poet in the early Qing Dynasty,he is basically consistent with Shen Hanguang,the chief General of Heshuo poetry sect,his poems studied Du Fu and Li Mengyang,Hejing-ming,the famous poets of Ming Dynasty,and advocated learning poets in Tang Dynasty,advocating that po-etry should be based on temperament and against the disadvantages of over simulation.As a result of the ban on literature,Yang Sisheng's Qieting Poems has been largely abridged and renamed as the Selected Qieting Poems.His poems show an obvious tendency to learn from Du Fu,especially his Sichuan poetry has made great achievements.Yang Sisheng is honored as one of the"Seven Poets of JiFu"and can be called the chief general of Heshuo poetry sect.Together with Shen Hanguang,Yin Yue and others,he made important contri-butions to the Yan Zhao poetry in the early Qing Dynasty.
