Mao Zedong's poem Lang Tao Sha:Beidaihe vividly depicts the vast and magnificent seaside scenery,showcasing the lofty aspirations and broad-mindedness of a generation's great leader.This poem is highly popular and enduring with a deep sense of history and a high praise of today.The poem has been fa-vored by scholars and translators,attracting numerous domestic and international translators to translate and widely disseminate it.This study explores the reasons behind Mao Zedong's creation of Lang Tao Sha:Beid-aihe and its publication process,traces the translation and publication by different domestic and foreign trans-lators at different times,and selects six representative English translations for comparative study.This study aims to provide reference and insights for better translating and disseminating Mao Zedong's poetry,con-structing and conveying the poet's image,advancing the international exchange of culture,and promoting mutual learning among world civilizations.
