With the discovery of new literature in recent years,the value of "Confucius Family Language" has been increasingly recognized by scholars. "Confucius Family Language·Wang Yan Jie",as a document record of Confucius' exposition of the royal way,deserves focused research. Wang Yan Jie,referred to as "Zhu Yan",is recorded in the "Da Dai Li Ji". Compared to "Zhu Yan",the material in "Wang Yan Jie" is more archaic,preservingmore of Confucius' original intent. The book "Wang Yan Jie" records Confucius' discourse on the "Seven Teachings","Three Acme",and "Internal Defense and External Expedition",which collectively reflect Confucius' philosophy process of achieving harmony through the interaction of the Way and virtue. He advocated governance through the rule of virtue and propriety,with the corresponding concept of "Internal Defense and External Expedition" to achieve the kingly way of ruling the world.
