Experimental Study on High Efficiency Flotation Separation of a Low-grade Micro-fine Copper-Lead Sulfide Ore
There is a large amount of low-grade copper-lead sulfide ore resources in Yunnan, which contain 0.37%copper and 1.21%lead.The dissemination size of copper-lead sulfide ore is fine,in which the fine fraction of-19+4.8 µm accounts for 60.76%and 67.20%in chalcopyrite and galena, respectively. It is difficult to select. In order to effectively recover the copper and lead minerals, the high efficiency flotation separation of the low-grade copper-lead sulfide ore was studied, and the application of bulk flotation and regrinding and reprocessing of bulk rough concentrate in copper-lead separation was discussed.According to the composition and particle size distribution of the ore,the process of copper-lead bulk flotation-regrinding of rough concentrate-copper-lead flotation separation was adopted in the test, and the effects of grinding fineness, reagent system, regrinding fineness of bulk rough concentrate and other factors on the flotation separation of copper and lead were studied. The optimum conditions for copper and lead bulk flotation were determined as follows:grinding fineness of-0.074 mm accounting for 80%,inhibitor lime dosage of 2 000 g/t,combined collector dosage of(aniline aerofloat mixed with Z-200 at 2∶1)90 g/t,rough concentrate regrinding fineness of-0.074 mm accounting for 90%,and inhibitor sodium mercaptoacetate dosage of 400 g/t.Through the flotation locked-cycle tests, copper concentrate with Cu grade of 22.01%and Cu recovery of 86.86%and lead concentrate with Pb grade of 64.84%and Pb recovery of 85.98%were obtained, which realized the efficient enrichment and separation of copper and lead. The technology of bulk flotation, regrinding and reconcentration provided an effective method for the efficient utilization of low-grade copper-lead sulfide ores, which was of great significance for improving the recovery and reducing the production cost.
