Research On the Value of National Traditional Ecological-knowledge from the Perspective of Ecological Civilization
There are thousands of ethnic groups in the world. They have constructed their own national habitat via long-term interaction with their living environment and formed traditional ecological knowledge.Such knowledge, while preserving the stability of their own national habitats, also benefits the peoples of other regions and constitutes a harmonious relationship between human beings and nature for all humankind. However, with the rise and development of industrial civilization, such harmony has been disrupted, and the development of industrial civilization has not only brought many"ecological disasters"to its own habitat, but has also endangered the survival of other peoples. Therefore,in order to carry out the construction of an ecological civilization and to restore a new pattern of harmonious and co-prosperous relations between human beings and nature on a global scale,it is necessary to draw on,digest and absorb the traditional ecological knowledge of various ethnic groups, and therefore the full exploration and innovative use of such knowledge still has an irreplaceable value and role to play in the construction of today's ecological civilization.
