Starting from the production process of rural imagery,it can be divided into two categories:one is the rural imagery that receives external funding, equipment, and technical training support;the other is the indigenous rural imagery that emerges driven by local markets and culture. This paper focuses on discussing the indigenous rural imagery. The widespread availability of filming, editing, and playback equipment is the foundational condition for the emergence of indigenous rural imagery, and the market supply and demand relationship has endowed this type of rural imagery with sustainability.Over the past two decades, indigenous rural imagery has become an indispensable part of the daily life and cultural practices of the local people.Compared to rural imagery that receives external funding, equipment, and technical support, indigenous rural imagery is dedicated to meeting the preferences and needs of the local population, representing a"living"imagery that is embedded in the local social culture and daily life.
