Continuity and Innovation:Practices and Theoretical Research into Rural Art Construction Since the 21st Century
Rural art construction in China since the 21st century can be described as a two-way mechanism.Whether it is through intervention,participation,integration,empowerment,or art education,all these approaches continue to follow a path of dual development in practice,allowing art and rural areas to form a community.Art education contributes effectively to the revitalization of rural education,which can take the perspective of educational anthropology to grasp the relationship between education and culture,as well as culture and people,by resorting to art education to revive and inherit the excellent traditional culture of the countryside,thus stimulating local cultural awareness.This strategy can draw upon the aesthetic educational philosophy of British Herbert Read and Teng Shouyao's ecological art educational ideas to cultivate talents for the comprehensive local development of rural areas.
