On Yuanhui's Rites and Music Ceremony in Song Dynasty
Yuanhui ceremony in Song Dynasty supplemented some rites on the basis of Tang Dynasty,such as the person to be pil-grimaged and the manners.Not only that,Song Yuanhui also changed some rites,such as the type and the sequence of Yuanhui cere-mony,the person who declared the greeting speech and the birthday statement,the process of the birthday ceremony,the orientation in salute,the dressing of emperor and ministers,the place and music of Yuanhui ceremony and so on.These changes were concerned with the governing strategy and cultural policy in Song Dynasty,reflecting the urgent demand of reform and further strengthening on political system in Song Dynasty.
