Opinions differ on the multiple value orientations and generalization of the security prob-lem that determine the understanding of national security.Despite the profound influence of the classical interpretations of the three traditions of realism,rationalism and revolutionism,the trend of inheritance and change of the understanding of national security is as before,while the change trend is particularly obvious in new era.Among them,the logic of the times,constituting by the power logic of the"era of strategic anxiety,"the innovation logic of securi-ty thinking keeping pace with the times,and the discourse logic of constructing an independ-ent knowledge system,is the key to re-understand national security,and thus strengthen the re-recognition of national security from the perspective of grand strategic theory,namely from the three dimensions of goal,means and internal and external relations.In terms of China's na-tional security thought,the superposition of national identity and mission,coupled with the change of internal and external environment,generally determines the trends of its inheritance and change.In the new era,the proposal of a holistic approach to national security is a clear reflection of those trends,and the national grand strategy under its guidance has always been designed and planned with an eye to the international situations and world trends,the charac-teristics and missions of the times the use of forces and strategic dynamics.
