Objective:To explore the research status and hot trends related to Chinese medicine for the treatment of Peptic Ulcer in China by visualizing bibliometric analysis of literature.Methods:Literature on TCM treatment for pep-tic ulcer published in CNKI was retrieved,and CiteSpace 6.2.R4 was used for visual analysis of authors,research insti-tutions,and keywords in the included literature.Results:726 Chinese-language articles were included.Peptic ulcer re-mains one of the research hot topics,with good momentum in team collaboration but room for improvement in institu-tional cooperation.The visualization map of keywords revealed 12 clusters and 13 burst keywords.Conclusion:Re-search on TCM treatment for peptic ulcer focuses on syndrome differentiation,treatment methods,disease mechanisms,and related efficacy indicators.The analysis of TCM formulae and clinical efficacy evaluation are still the main research focuses.Tailored syndrome differentiation treatment should be adopted for different patients,exploring the feasibility of combining different treatment methods to establish a comprehensive TCM diagnosis and treatment system.Additional-ly,long-term follow-up trials should be conducted to enhance observation of long-term efficacy.
