Up to now,many scholars have made textual research on Xiaoqing,but the results are not consistent.In this paper,on the basis of records of ancient and modern herbal medicine works,combined with botanical morphology re-search,made a herbal textual research on Xiaoqing of Bencao Tujing from the plant morphology,place oforigin,proper-ty efficacy and application.And find the original plants of Xiaoqing is likely to be Goodyera schlechtendaliana Rchb.f..It is hoped that this result can provide a new idea for the textual research of Xiaoqing and the historical evolution of Goodyera schlechtendaliana Rchb.f..
