Based on the Collateral Disease Theory to Explore the Pathogenesis and Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Migraine
Migraine,as a common neurological disease in clinical practice,seriously affects the daily life of patients.The pathogenesis of migraine is not clear.Western medicine mainly focuses on drug treatment,but it has side effects and mi-graine is hard to cure once and for all.The collateral disease theory is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine,which is closely related to the occurrence of migraine.From the collateral disease theory,the basic pathogenesis of migraine in traditional Chinese medicine is obstruction brings pain;malnutrition brings pain.By the princple of dredging collaterals,unobstructed without pain;supplementing nutrition,nutritious without pain to treat migraine,is to improve the curative effect and provide new ideas and methods for treating migraine.
