From Yin Fire Theory to Treat Diabetic Constipation
Constipation is one of the common clinical complications of diabetic patients.It not only seriously affects the quality of life of patients,but also increases the difficulty of controlling blood glucose and blood pressure,and is easy to induce acute complications such as myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction.The spleen and stomach deficiency characterizes the theory of Yin fire founded by Li Dongyuan as the main etiology and pathogenesis,consistent with the core pathogenesis of diabetic constipation.To take this as a starting point to explore the etiology of yin fire,and analy-zes the correlation between Yin fire and the etiology,pathogenesis,location,and clinical symptoms of diabetic constipa-tion,to clarify that Yin fire is the central link in the occurrence and development of this disease.It is proposed that dia-betic constipation can be divided into four stages according to the progression of the disease,to provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment of diabetic constipation.
