The Chinese modernization represents a groundbreaking,content-rich,and lofty endeavor in human civilization.The scientific perspectives on leadership,encapsulated in the propositions that"leadership entails foresight"and"leadership is service",have been distilled by the Communist Party of China(CPC)through a century of exploring the Chinese modernization.The pioneering,systematic,and global nature of this modernization requires that leading officials continuously enhance their capacity for philosophical thought.In advancing the Chinese modernization,leading officials play important roles,such as visionary navigators,pioneers of great undertakings,planning organizers,coordinators of complex relationships,responsible people with a global mind and devotees to the benefit of mankind.Their functions are pivotal in forecasting and steering,organizing and regulating,implementing and rectifying mistakes,and providing service and support.As we further the Chinese modernization under the background of"two overall situations",leading officials must deeply understand the philosophical implication of the"two propositions"and consciously learn and thoroughly understand the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,prioritizing the people above all.They must consciously grasp the value position of the Chinese modernization;maintain self-confidence and self-reliance to firmly navigate its future;persist in innovation while respecting foundational principles to understand its driving forces;focus on problem-solving to meet its practical demands;adopt a systemic perspective to identify strategic pathways;and foster a global vision to proactively anticipate its strategic prospects.
