The Generation of Value and the Historical Narration in Marx's Critique of Political Economy
As a kind of"same ghostly object",value is regarded as the realization of the unidirectional discipline of the real world in a transcendental symbolic order. This law of identity attached to exchange value covers up the potential reality of value generation, only re-solidifies the sacred image of value fetishism, and creates the"false timeliness"of capitalism. From the perspective of generative investigation, value is represented by the"differentiated repetition"movement of the reproduction process as Deleuze said. The interaction between reproduction and value in the sense of transcendence and experience is formed,so that value is kept in the limited present. The generative interpretation of value shows that value is only the illusory mechanism that capitalism sustains itself, while production and reproduction fundamentally shape the historical time of human beings.Based on the direct empirical reality of productive labor, mankind will eventually step out of the"modern history"of capital and achieve a real reconciliation with the world and history. The generation of value comes from the fundamental role of human production practice in defining history, which constitutes the historical narrative in Marx's criticism of political economy.
