Reform of Tourism Education Practice in the Digital Age—A Case Study of the"Tour Guide Operations"Course
The development of the digital economy and digital society is driving the transformation and innovation of teaching objectives and content.The educational direction for tourism majors shall not only meet the talent needs of the tourism industry in the digital age but also consider the future employment and development of students.The current teaching models in universities are inadequate in meeting the talent requirements of the tourism market in the digital era.This article reconsiders the necessity of teaching practice reform from the perspective of a digital so-ciety,analyzes the problems existing in tourism courses,and takes the"Tour Guide Operations"course as an ex-ample.It proposes digital teaching practice reform measures in terms of teaching content,teaching methods,teach-ing conditions,and assessment and evaluation models,providing a reference for the high-quality development of smart tourism talent.
