Rural Teachers'Digital Literacy in the Context of Educational Digitization:Definition,Significance,and Strategies
Accelerating digital transformation is an inevitable requirement for building a powerful country in educa-tion,and the digital literacy of rural teachers is crucial to driving this transformation.Rural teachers'digital literacy embodies value implications in terms of national value orientation,social value orientation,and individual value o-rientation.Currently,rural teachers face practical dilemmas such as insufficient internal motivation for digital adop-tion,lack of external impetus,and difficulties in evaluating digital performance.The path forward can be ap-proached from three aspects:enhancing digital teaching awareness to address the issue of superficial teacher cogni-tion;establishing practical training sessions on digital tools to build a digital community among urban and rural teachers;and developing evaluation indicators for digital literacy to promote comprehensive assessment of teachers'digital literacy.
