Research on the Design of Evaluation Index System for Sustainable Development of Industrial Chain and Supply Chain
In recent years, under the background of the increasingly urgent global demand for sustainable development, the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain have also become a focus of attention. However, the evaluation index system,as an important part of the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, has received little attention. In order to further promote the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain,it is necessary to accurately evaluate the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain. Therefore, the design of the evaluation index system is crucial. This study aims to explore the issue of sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, conducts targeted research on the evaluation index system of sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, designs the evaluation index system of sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain and determines the weight of evaluation indicators. This study takes the triple bottom line principle as a reference.Based on four dimensions of internal driving factors, external driving factors, internal constraints, and external constraints,an initial indicator system is designed from the literature, and expert interviews are used to revise and supplement the indicators, then an evaluation index system for sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain is proposed.Based on the real data of typical industries such as grain, oil, automotive, steel, chips, and logistics, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(Fuzzy-AHP)is used to calculate the weight of indicators and determine the importance of evaluation indicators. This article constructs an evaluation index system for sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, which includes 4 primary indicators,9 secondary indicators, and 22 tertiary indicators. The weight of evaluation indicators in this article shows that, from the calculation results of criterion level data, compared to the constraining factors, the driving factors have a greater impact on the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain. This is related to the current dual circulation development pattern and supply side structural reform in China, which drives industrial chain and supply chain to transform towards sustainability.Compared to the internal factors, the external factors currently have a greater impact on the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain.Compared to the controllable internal demand, there are more uncertain factors in external demand. From the data of the first and second level indicators and the final comprehensive weight calculation results,it can be seen that government intervention factors(such as"lack of government support"and"deviation from government intervention")are key indicators affecting the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain. This is a key factor in reshaping the global industrial chain and supply chain pattern, and also an important incentive for the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain;Next are"quality and green management","lack of management commitment related to management","lack of sustainability training and education","top management leadership factors",and"resource scarcity".This is to ensure the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain from a strategic perspective. In addition,in the context of economic globalization, the impact of"international trade regulations"and"global international trade relations"cannot be ignored. This study innovatively proposes a relatively systematic evaluation index system for sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain in the context of economic globalization.Compared with existing research, this study constructs for the first time an evaluation index system that takes into account the triple bottom line principle, and provides evaluation indicators for internal driving factors, external driving factors, internal constraint factors, and external constraint factors, which have filled the gap in the evaluation index system for sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain.Importantly, this study utilizes expert interviews to validate the indicators, systematically summarizes the evaluation indicators that affect the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, and uses the Fuzzy-AHP method to determine the weight of evaluation indicators, objectively measuring the importance of evaluation indicators. The research results provide new references and insights for a deeper understanding of the evaluation for sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain. When formulating sustainable development goals, industrial chain and supply chain managers can refer to this evaluation index system, comprehensively consider environmental, social, and economic factors, and ensure the balance and coordination between indicators.Meanwhile, the establishment of evaluation index system can help managers identify and evaluate potential risks in industrial chain and supply chain.By strengthening risk management and control,it can reduce the uncertainty and vulnerability of industrial chain and supply chain. In addition, managers can refer to the weight of evaluation indicators, accurately evaluate the importance of different indicators, prioritize the most influential issues on the sustainable development of industrial chain and supply chain, allocate resources reasonably, and improve the effectiveness of management decisions.
